An Arkansas tourism message is airing at the gas pumps in four other states, marking the first time a state government has used the Gas Station TV (GSTV) network to reach potential travelers.
It’s all part of a partnership between the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism (ADPT) and GSTV, the largest national video network delivering the most viewers at the pump.
ADPT will use the GSTV national video network at the pump to get its “More Fun Per Gallon” message to consumers throughout the state and in neighboring markets within Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
“Partnering with GSTV is a great way to garner attention for the amazing one-tank trip opportunities we have in Arkansas,” said Arkansas Tourism Director Joe David Rice. “The impact of GSTV’s unparalleled ability to connect with viewers in an environment where we have their undivided attention is undeniable. This makes the network an effective resource in showcasing all of the fun, affordable family vacations and inexpensive getaways the state has to offer.”
The 15-second spots airing on GSTV are a part of the campaign aimed at reminding potential visitors that Arkansas is a friendly, exciting and affordable vacation destination.
“GSTV’s ability to geo-target messages on our network make us a great solution for local and state government departments looking to broadcast relevant news and information to an audience in specific areas,” said David Leider, CEO, GSTV. “I hope to see more of them follow the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism’s lead and leverage our solutions to disseminate their messages.”
The “More Fun Per Gallon” campaign will run on GSTV through late-June.
